Scruffles striking her best pose
Scruffles hails from Melbourne, Australia, and currently resides in the cozy, leafy-green eastern suburb of Burwood. She is a very cute, very little, Maltese Terrier x Shih Tzu crossbreed who loves spending her days sleeping and lazing around on the bed next to her mummy, especially during the winter months. When it’s warmer, she enjoys getting outside to feel the sunshine on her back whilst going for walks or chasing a ball at the local park.
As is typical of her breed mix, she is extremely friendly, fun, and affectionate, so anyone who is lucky enough to meet her can’t resist giving her lots of hugs, kisses and cuddles, which she is always more than happy to receive!
Being a cheeky little devil, she sometimes likes to bark at other dogs, even if they are much bigger than she is, and she’s never shy to ask for food. Needless to say, she can’t wait for dinner time! Mashed chicken, rice and carrots would have to be her favourite dish but she’s also a big sweet tooth, so it’s best to keep a close eye on your dessert whenever she’s around.
Really though, she’s generally very well-behaved, obedient, and respectful, and rarely causes any kind of mess around the house. Plus, when visiting her favourite vet, Tina, for her regular check-ups and vaccinations, she always puts on a brave face and hardly makes a fuss, even when Tina has to give her one of those big, scary needles.
All of these things make it easy to see why Scruffles is indeed, the wonder dog!
